Christmas Carol Service and Nativity

Just a note to let you know that Derbyshire Harp Ensemble and junior harpz and Senior Ladies Harp Ensembles will be putting on their Christmas Carol Service and Nativity at Church Broughton Methodist Church on the 5th December at 7.30 - all welcome, there will be carols, solos, readings and a nativity - it's held in aid of church funds and all are welcome - the youngest harpist will be 7 and the Oldest 80!!

Wedding thanks 1/11/14

Hi

I was at Francesca and Victoria's ceremony on Saturday and had to e-mail how much I enjoyed the harps playing.

The harpist who played through dinner was amazing, playing some of my favourite pieces of music, which were a joy to hear and some pieces really stirred something inside me, it was beautiful and emotional.

she was professional and talented and a joy to watch and listen to.

I have only heard a harp played in an orchestra before and hadn't realised what a wonderful and versatile instrument it is in its own right.

Please thank the harpist for not only opening my eyes, and ears, to the harp, but also for the joy they brought with their playing.
