It was something I had wanted since I was a child so you made a lifelong wish come true!.  It is sturdy and the tone is truly lovely. I hope I can learn to play well enough    do it justice!.

Originating from the best selling Luncharsky model, the NEVA 46 harp was developed in 1984. It has gone through major improvements since that time, which positively affected both the design and the tone qualities of the instrument. Now Series 19 is a contemporary semi-grand harp with distinctive faceted design and remarkable sound.

The special soundboard construction creates the distinctive “Russian” sound which many harpists adore – crystal trebles, clear middle and powerful resonant bass. NEVA 46 is also a very responsive harp, with great dynamics. Harpists do not need extra efforts to produce a good sounding ff or pp on it.

Professional lever harp with 5 full octaves. The string tension and spacing are similar to a pedal harp, which makes it a perfect choice for those who want to start learning the harp with a smaller instrument first. It is designed with the same vibrating lenghts as the famous L&H Troubadour VI, but has essential differences in the construction aimed at a better, more resonant sound and improved structural stability. 
Our lever harps are fitted with semitone levers, which offer utmost reliability and performance. The woods used for this harps are the same as for our pedal harp models: the frame is made out of hard maple, the roundback soundbox out of maple veneer. The soundboard is made of sitka spruce with a thin european spruce veneer on its top.
